Mike strikes an infectious cheerful attitude. He’s constantly happy whether he’s just hanging out with other members or hitting a long drive. “The DG Club is not only about the game,” he continues. “It’s about the people you run across along the road.”
Spotlight #3: Emily “The Rising Star” Carter
Finally but most certainly not least let’s discuss Emily Carter, also known as “The Rising Star.” Though Emily is among the younger members of the DG Club, her abilities would make even the most experienced players envious. Don’t let her age deceive you.
At only ten years old, Emily began playing disc golf with her father. It was our thing, she explains. Just the two of us, we would spend hours on the course. At sixteen now, Emily is earning a reputation in the disc golf scene and participating in events.
Emily’s commitment to improve her game is what really motivates me. She always pushes herself to be better, always studying, and practices. “I enjoy the challenge,” she notes. “Every round is an opportunity for enjoyment and improvement.”
